The Engineering Test institute, being the Certification Body for Product Certification No. 3040, develops its activites of the basis of fulfilled accreditation criteria determined by CSN EN 45011 within the following scope.
Certification of engineering, electrical, pressure, heating, gas and building installations, lifts, medical devices, toys, aids, goods and utensils for personal protection DIY, office, sports and households within the scope specified in the Annex to the Accreditation Certificate issued by the Czech Accreditation Institute.
The products are certified in conformity with the standards issued by the standardization bodies (CNI, ISO, IEC, CEN, CENELEC), in conformity with legal regulations of the Czech Republic or European Community containing technical requirements to products and/or in conformity with military standards or standards of other countries.
For the needs of vendors and importers launching their products to the Czech market the Engineering Test Institute is competent as:
- Authorized Body 202 - for the activities connected with assessment of product conformity determined within the bounds of the Act No. 22/1997 Coll. (as amended) in conformity with technical regulations of the Government Decrees
- Notified Body 1015 - for the activities connected with assessment of product conformity pursuant to technical requirements of the Guidelines and EC Directive
