Testing and certification of personal protective equipment

We perform tests and certification of personal protective equipment (PPE) according EU regulation 2016/425, such as mountaineering equipment and fall protection equipment, helmets and many others. Since 2006, we have been acting as an accredited UIAA (International Mountaineering and Climbing Federation) testing laboratory and we are able to carry out a complete range of tests according to UIAA regulations.

We also perform conformity assessment, help you with prototype testing of your products (development and prototype tests), and provide technical assistance.

Products are usually tested for construction quality, dimensions, static strength, dynamic strength or chemical resistance and durability.

You often ask us what we need from you to perform the certification test. In addition to the test sample itself, we will need documentation from you in accordance with European Regulation 2016/425. These are:

risk analysis (assessment of all risks arising from the practical use of the product)
production plan - quality plan (production process, verification of the product manufacturing process)
list of basic health and safety requirements taken into account in the manufacture of the product
