HP Keymark - certification for heat pumps

The HP Keymark is a voluntary and independent certification mark for most types of heat pumps. Manufacturers appreciate the main advantages of the "one certificate for everything" mark, which means that a single certification meets the requirements of various subsidy programs across the EU.

HP Keymark is a prestigious, consumer-appreciated mark that signals that the manufacturer maintains the quality of its production and processes over the long term. Control is carried out through annual production audits and regular product testing. Manufacturers can also use the mark in their marketing communications as strong and credible proof of the quality of their products to consumers. Based on the HP Keymark, heat pump manufacturers can apply for additional certifications such as MCS or EHPA Q-label.

It is based on independent, third-party testing and demonstrates compliance with product requirements as set in the Heat Pump KEYMARK scheme rules and with efficiency requirements as set by Ecodesign Lot 1 and Lot 2.

The Heat Pump KEYMARK scheme is owned by the European Committee for standardization (CEN). The certificates are granted by independent certification bodies to products fulfilling all requirements of the scheme. The scheme is open to all certification bodies in Europe. SZÚ is one of a very limited number of organizations to which manufacturers can apply for certification and product testing.
